Hi, so I was wondering if anyone could please help me out so I may figure out how to add mods to my RE5 game. I want to be able to use Jill and Wesker for story mode with their actual moves and voice, etc. Also I would like to know on how I may switch from the actual characters (Chris and Sheva) to the then modded characters (ex Jill and Wesker). Also if anyone could help me out on a mod to remove the HUD for RE5 when preferred I would appreciate. Please let me know RE5 mods affect my saved data, if I need to back up my files and how.

Mods that change characters like that are highly unstable, prone to crashing the game and corrupting save data indiscriminately. Reskins/model swaps (merely changing the appearance of one character for another) are another matter entirely, since you're not changing the internal data of the in-game object (character, weapon, etc.) you're using. But mods that imply using stuff that's supposed to be AI-only are almost guaranteed to either crash your game and/or make your saved data useless.Furthermore, when applying ANY mods to ANY game that doesn't normally support them (like this one), you should ALWAYS back up your data regardless of what ANYBODY out there might tell you. A backup pack of a game makes the difference between an unrecoverable game due to a failed mod, and being able to restore the game to a working state after finding out the mod broke it.
